Miranda Hallquist received her MSc in Genetic Counseling from the University of Toronto in 2006. After spending a few years as a full-time mom, she practiced clinical cancer genetic counseling for over seven years before transitioning to full time research. Miranda’s research interests surround increasing access to genomic information to guide health care decisions. She’s particularly interested in genetic counseling practice and population genomic screening. Miranda is currently a Senior Genetic Counselor at Geisinger and Director of Geisinger’s Genetic Counseling Assistant Program.
